Three of the seven persons who were granted anticipatory bail in the over Rs 290-crore DLF cheating case, surrendered before a Nampally court and were subsequently released on bail after producing required sureties. The three — Amit Agarwal (accused number 5), Komal Agarwal (accused number 8) and Manjari Gupta alias Mangri Gupta (accused number 9), who is the wife of Gopal Gupta — surrendered before the 12th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate.
They were released after executing a bond and furnishing two sureties of Rs 50,000 each. They also surrendered their passports. As per the court orders, they are not supposed to leave Hyderabad and should appear before the Central Crime Station twice a week, i.e. Monday and Thursday. Two other persons — Radheshyam Gupta and Manoj Kumar Sharma — approached the court, but their bail formalities couldnot be completed, as they failed to produce the documents. They surrendered, as a Nampally court had on Saturday, directed them to surrender within 10 days, while granting anticipatory bail. It may be noted that the court denied anticipatory bail to Hyderabad-based realtor G.S. Gupta and his brother Gopal Gupta.
