Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s love story!

Saturday, 17 March 2012

Wedding bells are going to toll for Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan this year. Now dating for close to five years, the couple has finally decided to settle down.

Saif and Kareena have been warding off the ‘When will you get married?’ question -- asked verbally or through inquisitive glances -- for long now. Five years is a long time to get to know each other and figure out if the other person fits one’s billing of Mr. or Mrs. Right. On this count, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor may not have had a shred of doubt. Not an instance is known when the two squabbled over any issue or even had the proverbial lovers’ tiff. Not an instance of the roving eye. Not a chink in their amour.

This near perfect image, however, has been wanting in solemnity, a marital stamp, which, though a mere formality for the couple, does make the lovers man and wife. Saif Ali Khan had been hinting at it for long now, but now Kareena Kapoor has given her nod publicly. At the India Today Conclave, when asked about her marriage plan, Kareena said: “Hopefully, by the end of this year.”

Kareena added: “I am working on Heroine and I need to finish the film first. But we're not going to announce the date yet. I don't understand why the entire nation is in a hurry to make me the Begum of Pataudi. There's no rush. Obviously people have to be patient.”

It’s a piece of news that the fans of both the actors had been waiting for a long time. Now, as we hear the collective release of the bated breath, we present you the love story of Saif and Kareena in pictures ahead. It begins with their first pairing up on the big screen and moves through the initial days of their romance to the confirmation of their wedding plans. Do not miss.

"Hopefully, by the end of this year," Kareena said at the India Today Conclave 2012 here, following a question about her D-day.
"I am working on 'Heroine' and I need to finish the film first. But we're not going to announce the date yet. I don't understand why the entire nation is in a hurry to make me the Begum of Pataudi. There's no rush. Obviously people have to be patient," she added.

Can Kareena Kapoor's Heroine beat Vidya Balan's Kahaani?

 Vidya-BeboVidya-BeboVidya-Bebo
After an age-long rule of the male stars in Bollywood, the current woman-centric scripts have paved a way to the actresses to play central characters in films. The current scenario is such that the actresses are at par with each other with the power of such challenging movies.

Vidya Balan's back to back success The Dirty Pictureand Kahaani might face a threat from Kareena Kapoor's upcoming Heroine, since all these movies are based on female-centric themes. Vidya who was basking in The Dirty Picture's success, has yet again won herself acclodes for Kahaani, where she herself plays the hero of the movie.

But reports say that Bhandarkar's Heroine is one of the finest female centric scripts Bollywood has ever seen. In fact the filmmaker has even promised that the world will see Kareena as never before. While Vidya's performance is being talked about so much for Kahaani, Bebo's glamorous avatar is such that there would be fireworks all over again with Heroine.

Both the stories are based on different story lines, while a pregnant Vidya runs for her missing husband, Mahie Khanna (Kareena) in Heroine traces the meteoric rise and tragic downfall of the fictitious actress.

Witnessing National Award winning Bhandarkar's confidence, filmmakers Sujoy Ghosh and Milan Luthria are possibly facing a tough time in accepting Heroine's upcoming surprise.
